On the afternoon of day two of the workshop, seven projects were featured that we believe can be organizing centers for the work outlined by the theme group breakouts including:

• Whole Community Project and the Groundswell Center’s Farm Incubator Project

• Get Your Green Back (GYGB)

• The Fingerlakes Re-use Center

• Retrofitting Buildings for Energy Efficiency (Green Jobs)

• Rebuilding the Wall

• eLAB (Entrepreneurship, Leadership and Business Development)

We understand that these are by no means the only projects currently underway that can serve as vehicles for helping us realize our vision.

We will continue to update our list of projects and activities underway in the community that can be vehicles for building relationships across race, class and place as well as for helping us achieve our vision of a socially just and ecologically sound local economy in the Tompkins County region.
